  • You must possess a current passport or other travel documents.
  • You must have a signed antecedent certificate. The application form contains the antecedent certificate. You give details about your criminal history in this certificate. You claim, for instance, that you have not broken any laws. You add that you have yet to provide any false information and have yet to overstay your visa in the Netherlands. Children under 12 are not required to fill out the certificate.
  • A TB test is required once you’ve arrived in the Netherlands. In the following circumstances, a TB test is not required:
  1. You request a separate residence permit even if you already have a valid residence permit in the Netherlands.
  2. You were born and have continuously resided in the Netherlands.
  3. You underwent a TB test in the Netherlands less than six months ago.
