J-FIND Visa: Opening Doors for Graduates

The J-FIND visa is essentially a job seeker visa designed for graduates from top foreign universities. This visa provides a unique opportunity for individuals to stay in Japan for an extended period of up to 2 years while searching for employment.

Under the previous visa rules, graduates were limited to a stay of only 90 days. However, with the J-FIND visa, aspiring professionals have more time to explore job opportunities in Japan. To be eligible for this visa, applicants must have around 200,000 YEN upon arrival in Japan.

Moreover, candidates must have graduated from a university or higher education institution ranked in the top 100 in prestigious lists such as the QS Top Universities, Times Higher Education World University Rankings, and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Academic Ranking of World Universities.

J-SKIP Visa: Fast-Tracking Opportunities for Professionals

The J-SKIP visa is made for researchers, engineers, and high-level managers seeking employment in Japan. This visa offers a unique advantage by allowing candidates to skip the current point-based system and directly apply for a highly skilled professional visa. Our Job Support team can help you land your dream job in Japan.

Eligibility for the J-SKIP visa is determined based on specific income and work experience requirements set by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan. Researchers and engineers can apply if they hold a master’s degree and earn an annual income of 20 million Yen or more or have at least 10 years of work experience with a similar income.

For managers, a minimum of 5 years of experience and an annual income of 40 million Yen or more are required. Successful candidates will be granted a 5-year stay period, during which they can work within their professional fields. After three years, those who upgrade to Level 2 will enjoy the privilege of staying in the country indefinitely with minimal restrictions on work.

Both J-FIND and J-SKIP visas allow spouses and family members to accompany the candidate during their stay in Japan, fostering a supportive environment for those embarking on their professional journey in this vibrant nation.
